Holy shit, that felt nice! I had almost forgotten what a huge hit felt like, because it's been, like, what, three days since the Jays lineup came up with one? Regardless, after an ugly loss on Friday featuring some limp bats and another slow start to today's game, Russell Martin's three-run home run in the sixth inning was most certainly a reason to get fired up. Fransisco Liriano had a rough time, the bats were quiet again, people are blaming everything on either the lack of small ball or the implementation of a six-man rotation, and finally, all those people who said "you can't trade Joe Fucking Musgrove!" were validated. It seems like a good time for Aaron Sanchez to go out there and shut everybody up for a few hours!

Kauffman Stadium — A place of shadows, creepy bearded kids, and sobering memories. 

The Blue Jays returned to Kansas City last night for the first time since they were dropped by the eventual World Series Champions in the ALCS last October for a weekend series that featured two teams headed in opposite directions. 

While regular season success ultimately won’t soothe the pain of what we witnessed last fall — Dalton Pompey anxiously waiting around on third base, Ben Revere smashing the gatorade jug to death, and our MVP grounding out with deafening cheers in the background — it’s certainly something.

The Franklin Morales era in Toronto comes to an end as the lefty won't travel with the team to Houston

Can you even really call it an era if he only tossed 4.0 innings with the team? Regardless, according to Barry Davis on Twitter, Franklin Morales will not be with the club as they travel to Houston to open up a four-game series on Monday.
