It was easy for the minds of Jays fans to have raced over the last couple of days, with Josh Donaldson out of the lineup with a mysterious hip issue that was failing to respond to treatment, and being sent for an MRI to get a better idea of what was going on.
Thinking his entire season may have been in genuine peril would have constituted a leap, but in these gloomy times for the team and the fan base, one could have been forgiven for thoughts that may have wandered in that direction.
But tonight the minds of Jays Nation can rest easy. Donaldson is in the lineup for the team in Anaheim, and while he isn’t at 100% — he’ll DH in this one — the MRI apparently didn’t show anything of major concern.
Thaaaaaaaank fuck!
