Game Threat: The Boys Ae On The Bench, Rangers (24-25) @ Blue Jays (22-26)

After making their big return last night, Josh Donaldson and Troy Tulowitzki will be on the bench today’s pitchers’ duel between Marco Estrada and Yu Darvish. Thankfully, the roof will be open, according to the Jays Twitter account! Just kidding, it won’t be.

And now, the lineups…
Blue Jays
Marco Estrada: 62 2/3 IP, 3.30 ERA, 7.9 H9, 1.1 HR9, 2.3 BB9, 10.1 SO9
Rangers
It's #DarvishDay! Here's how we stack up with @faridyu on the mound. atmlb.com/2qq8l1Q #LetsGoRangers
Yu Darvish: 63 2/3 IP, 2.83 ERA, 6.5 H9, 1.1 HR9, 3.8 BB9, 9.6 SO9
The Jays will be trotting their B lineup out against Yu Darvish tonight, just like the good ol’ days of the past month! Troy Tulowitzki and Josh Donaldson, both fresh off missing significant time with injury, obviously aren’t going to be playing on turf on a day game following a night game, so as frustrating as it is, the decision makes sense. Today’s game will be the opposite of last night’s, as Marco Estrada and Yu Darvish figure to lock into a pitcher’s duel. The last time the Jays saw Darvish was Game 2 of the ALDS last year, hopefully it goes like that again.
