Roster move: Blue Jays recall RHP Tom Koehler and option RHP Chris Rowley to Buffalo (AAA)
Game Threat: The Tom Koehler Era! Blue Jays (60-66) @ Rays (62-66)

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for! Tom Koehler, the reclamation project acquired from Florida, will make his Blue Jays debut today with an opportunity to give his new team a series win in Tampa Bay.
News and Scuttlebutt
In the corresponding roster move to add Koehler to the roster, Chris Rowley has been optioned back to Triple-A. Rowley had a very solid showing in his three-game debut in the Major Leagues, and will certainly be placed back on the team when rosters expand in September.

And now, the lineups…
Blue Jays
Going for the series win to end our road trip. Here is our lineup pres. by @MajesticOnField. atmlb.com/2otPGEX
Tom Koehler: 7.92 ERA, 55 2/3 IP, 10.8 H9, 2.4 HR9, 4.7 BB9, 7.1 SO9
Rays
Here's how we'll wrap up the homestand. #RaysUp
Alex Cobb: 3.80 ERA, 147 IP, 8.7 H9, 1.1 HR9, 2.3 BB9, 5.9 SO9
Soooo yeah! Tom Koehler! He looks fucking terrified in his photo, but hopefully that’s just a fear of taking headshots and not worry about impending doom on the pitcher’s mound in Tampa Bay. Alex Cobb will go for the Rays. He’s been good this season, but is coming off of a month-long disabled list stint due to turf toe, so he could be a little rusty. A win would…Ugh… Tie the Jays with the Rays for fourth place in the AL East!
