Betano Bets of the Series — Toronto Blue Jays open three-game set against Washington Nationals

By Zach Laing
23 days agoWelcome to the Betano: Bets of the Series! We’re looking at the start of each series for the Toronto Blue Jays, who they are up against, and what we could expect from the next number of games.
Remember a few days ago when I talked in the last Betano Bets of the Series article about how the Jays season could slip away? Well, going 1-2 against Cleveland could start a tailspin.
I’d like to sit here and say the Jays have an easy series against the Washington Nationals, but I’d be lying.
Let’s see what they can do on this homestand.

The Analysis
Fire at will.
Much like the last series against Cleveland, it’s hard not to love the Jays in this series. But we all know how the last one went.
The Nationals have seemingly turned their season around and while they won’t be playoff-bound this year, there’s no doubt they’re a tough out right now. Since the all-star break, they’ve gone 25-16 for a .610 W-L% while being outscored 209-199.
The Jays are juiced on the moneyline again in this series, so if you have a hankerin’ for backing one of these teams, taking a correct series score bet would be the way to go.
