The Analysis
Betano loves the Jays here in this series, and it makes a ton of sense. Beyond Steele, the Cubbies aren’t rolling out an A+ group of pitchers. They’re opening the series tonight with Assad out of the bullpen, and Taillon is sporting a career-worst 5.17 ERA this season.
They Jays at -143 to win the series makes sense, and taking them to win the series 2-1 at +130 is a nice number, too.
