The Toronto Blue Jays Spring Breakout game is just around the corner.

On Thursday afternoon, the Blue Jays announced the team they&#8217;re bringing for the Spring Breakout game on Mar. 15. It of course features top prospects such as Orelvis Martínez, Arjun Nimmala, Alan Roden, Trey Yesavage, and others.

Interestingly, this may be Yesavage’s first taste of professional action, as he’s yet to make his professional debut after the Blue Jays selected him 20th overall in the 2024 draft. He had a strong junior year at East Carolina University, posting a 2.03 ERA and a 1.81 FIP in 93.1 innings pitched with a 40.4 K% and an 8.9 BB%.

Two other pitchers who could make his professional debut in this game are Khal Stephen and Johnny King IV, selected in the second and third rounds respectively. Jake Bloss is a top 10 Blue Jays prospect but has had a rough Spring Training so far.
Other pitchers who could pitch for the Blue Jays on the 15th are Mason Fluharty, Kendry Rojas, Gage Stanifer, CJ Van Eyk, and Juaron-Watts Brown.
The three catchers the Jays elected to bring are Aaron Parker, Jacob Sharp, and Brock Tibbitts. Parker and Tibbitts were drafted in the 2024 draft, with Parker slashing .235/.380/.519 with five home runs in 100 Single-A plate appearances. Sharp was acquired in the Yimi García trade with the Seattle Mariners before the 2024 trade deadline and he slashed .226/.316/.381 with three home runs in 96 plate appearances in High-A Vancouver.
Of course, other prospects acquired at the trade deadline could participate in this game as well. Cutter Coffey and Eddinson Paulino were acquired in the Danny Jansen trade, Charles McAdoo was acquired in the Isiah Kiner-Falefa trade, Yohendrick Piñango was acquired in the Nate Pearson trade, and RJ Schreck was acquired in the Justin Turner trade.
Some of Toronto’s best prospects were named to the roster as well, including a few that could make an impact at the major league level &#8211; notably Alan Roden, Orelvis Martínez, and Josh Kasevich.
Other prospects on the team include Sean Keys, Peyton Williams, Victor Arias, Jace Bohrofen, Enmanuel Bonilla, and Dasan Brown.
It will be interesting to see how the Blue Jays prospects perform against the Twins prospects on the 15th.
