Are you ready for the Rogers Centre to become next level again?
With Phase 1 of the stadium’s $300-million renovation completed, the Toronto Blue Jays are already shifting its focus to the next phase, announcing on Tuesday that three new premium clubs will be unveiled next season.
These new additions will be known as the “Batting Tunnel Club,” the “Home Plate Club,” and “The Lounge,” with all three sections located beneath the 100-level bowl.
The Batting Tunnel Club, located third base side of home plate, is described as an authentic sports bar atmosphere that provides fans with prime views over the Blue Jays dugout and into their newly-designed batting cage. It will also feature memorabilia and tributes to honour the franchise’s historic moments.
The Home Plate Club will be positioned directly behind home plate and include unprecedented culinary experiences and up-close seats to games. Those who purchase a membership to this club will also receive access to all three clubs.
Lastly, The Lounge will be a private and intimate section located on the first base side of home plate, where fans can host large groups or business meetings with Blue Jays baseball as the backdrop. It will be the largest club among the three, featuring an expanded culinary menu, a live chef’s table and in-club entertainment for pre and post-game hosting.
The second phase will also renovate player facilities, plus home and away clubhouses.
