Come on, Jays. Don’t let this guy be happy!
That, of course, is a tough row to hoe right now, as the Clevelands come to the Rogers Centre scorching hot, with some damn formidable starting pitching.
Pffft. Yeah. For the AL Central! AMIRIGHT???
Let’s fuck these fuckers up.

Scuttlebutt

The Chad Jenkins era has come to its ignominious end. The pitcher who was drafted 20th overall by the Jays in 2009 — five picks ahead of Mike Trout *COUGH* — and spent much of the last couple-or-three years (what, am I gonna look it up?) has been released by the club in order to… uh… in order to not have Jenkins on the roster. Godspeed, Jenknutz.
The Jenkins move was announced at the same time as the club announced that Ryan Tepera has been sent down to Buffalo and Brett Cecil activated from the DL. Finally!
Cecil will go straight into a setup role in the bullpen, says John Gibbons, according to an Arden Zwelling tweet
Scott MacArthur tweets that Gibbons says Franklin Morales “isn’t imminent.” So… OK? Weird. But whatever. Ceece!
“Cecil says his curveball feels a lot sharper than it was in April/May. He made a slight mechanical change to be more upright; that’s helped,” tweets Arden. He adds: “Pitching more upright has helped Cecil stay over the rubber and keeps his arm closer to his body. He’s encouraged with the results.”
Jose Bautista tweets that he’d like you to use Tide. Uh…
