Hey, it’s the Snakes!
Ho ho ho. I don’t know. Somebody called the Arizona Diamondbacks “the Snakes” in a tweet or something the other day, and… that ain’t right, is it? Is that a thing we do?
“The Snakes”?
Maybe it is? Did I miss that one? Or… ?
Anyway, it’s the Snakes! And All-Star Aaron Sanchez, in what might be — but certainly won’t be — his final start of the season! Better watch!

Scuttlebutt

I wrote about a whole bunch of scuttlebutt earlier in the evening. The TL;DR version: Bautista will be rehabbing in Buffalo over the weekend and back with the Jays early next week, Marco Estrada’s back feels good to go and he’ll start Friday against the Mariners, Ryan Goins has been rehabbing and may rejoin the team as soon as Friday as well, and the Jays have one more Friday decision to make, involving Franklin Morales and whether to release him or find a spot on the big league roster (perhaps at the expense of Aaron Loup?).
