After winning six of seven on the road against the Yankees and Red Sox, the Blue Jays came home and got dominated in a three-game sweep by the Angels. That’s not what you like to see!
We looked back at this series and talked about how the Blue Jays can go from looking like a team ready to go on a run to suddenly putting up a lifeless effort against a basement team. Is this just some mid-season fatigue? Or does this team lack something needed to be successful?
After that, we looked ahead at the three-game series with the Cubs, which will feature Marcus Stroman’s first start in Toronto since he was traded back in 2019.
