BJN Radio – Ep. 109: The Blue Jays reminded the Orioles that they’re the Trash Birds

Nobody expected these games against the Baltimore Orioles this month to matter as much as they do, but here we are.
The Blue Jays rolled into Baltimore with a two-and-a-half game lead over the Orioles in the Wild Card standings and extended it by taking three of four games in the series.
We talked about Bo Bichette’s September Redemption Tour, Vladdy’s struggles with getting the ball in the air (what is it, 2019?!?), and the excellent pitching performance the team got from Alek Manoah. We also talked about Bryan Baker’s beef with the Blue Jays.
After that, we looked ahead to the team’s three-game series with the Texas Rangers and how they can set themselves up for the five-game marathon series they’ll have with the Tampa Bay Rays after that.
