BJN Radio – Ep. 130: The Dog Days of Spring Training

We’ve reached the Dog Days of Spring Training where everybody is just waiting for the season to start.
We talked about Canada’s performance at the World Baseball Classic and the team’s heartbreaking loss to Mexico that ultimately ended their tournament. We also talked about Edwin Diaz’s season-ending injury and the response from many that this tournament isn’t worth the risk.
After that, we circled back to Dunedin and made some observations about what’s happened in Grapefruit League play thus far, including Yusei Kikuchi benefitting from the pitch clock, Alek Manoah’s velocity, and Addison Barger making a name for himself.
