BJN Radio Ep. 15 – A weekend of heartbreak with the Rays

What a dreadful weekend!
The Blue Jays lost hosted the Rays and suffered four heartbreaking losses that featured late-game blown leads, extra-innings implosions, and comebacks that didn’t quite happen. The team is now on a six-game skid and they sit in fourth place in the American League East with a 23-23 record.
We talked about the gassed bullpen, whether or not we should Blame Charlie for all of these blown leads, and what the team needs in order to get back on track. We also talked about Vlad Jr. being in the mix for the AL triple crown (!!!) and the team finally calling up Alek Manoah to make his big-league debut.
Next up, the Blue Jays head to New York to take on the Yankees, a team that seems to have figured itself out since the last time we saw them.
