BJN Radio – Ep. 159: Blue Jays bring out the brooms in Chicago, Alek Manoah set for his return, and more!

The Blue Jays have a great opportunity to roll into the All-Star break on a winning streak.
They swept their three-game series with the White Sox and now they’ll head to Detroit to face the struggling Tigers.
We talked about Toronto’s sweep in Chicago, the excellent pitching the team received over the series, and Vladdy coming through in the clutch with an eighth-inning go-ahead homer. We also talked about Hyun Jin Ryu making his first start since undergoing Tommy John surgery and the possibility of the Blue Jays grabbing veteran slugger Nelson Cruz off of waivers.
After that, we took a look around the American League East and ahead to this weekend’s series in Detroit, which will feature Alek Manoah’s return to the big leagues.
