BJN Radio – Ep. 170: Alek Manoah to Triple-A, what José Bautista meant to the Blue Jays, and more!

The bats went quiet again as the Blue Jays split their four-game series in Cleveland this week.
We talked about the series with the Guardians and why the team struggles so much with runners in scoring position. We also talked about Hyun Jin Ryu’s excellent start getting derailed by a comebacker hitting him in the knee and why Alek Manoah was optioned to Triple-A.
After that, we looked back on the career of José Bautista, who inked a one-day contract to retire as a Blue Jay on Friday. Finally, we looked around the American League playoff picture and ahead to Toronto’s series with the Chicago Cubs.
