There have been some good developments in the Toronto Blue Jays&#8217; farm system this season.

That is reflected in both<a href="https://www.mlb.com/milb/prospects/top100/"> MLB Pipeline </a>and <a href="https://www.baseballamerica.com/rankings/2025-top-100-prospects/">Baseball America’s </a>most recent update to their Top 100 prospect lists. Both Arjun Nimmala and Trey Yesavage moved up on both lists, while Ricky Tiedemann also ranks on Baseball America&#8217;s list.

Heading into the 2025 season, Nimmala ranked as MLB Pipeline’s 87th-best prospect. After starting his season slashing .280/.348/.534 with an organization-leading seven home runs, Nimmala has moved up to the 59th spot in MLB Pipeline’s rankings. The Jays’ 2023 first-round pick didn’t even rank in Baseball America’s pre-season update, but ranks 58th after his great start.
Yesavage hadn’t pitched professionally before April, so it could be seen as reasonable why he didn’t rank in Baseball America’s pre-season Top 100. The righty did appear on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 prospect list, ranking one spot below Nimmala at 88th overall. In six professional starts, Yesavage has a 2.22 ERA and a 2.15 FIP in 28.1 innings pitched, with a 39.8 K% and a 7.4 BB%. He moved up to 71st on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 prospect list, while Baseball America has him 98th.
Tiedemann once ranked as high as 29th in MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 list dating back to their 2024 pre-season list, but he’s suffered multiple injuries paired with poor performance and has dropped off the list. Despite not pitching yet this season due to recovering from Tommy John surgery, Tiedemann ranks as Baseball America’s 95th-best prospect in baseball. Hopefully, he can dominate once he returns from injury later this season.
Nimmala and Yesavage aren’t the only prospects who’ve found success early this season. Yohendrick Pinango has torched Double-A New Hampshire, while Pinto shares the organization lead in home runs with Nimmala. Sam Shaw, RJ Schreck, Riley Tirotta, Sean Keys, and Aaron Parker are a few other position players who’ve had good starts to their season.
On the pitching side of things, Gage Stanifer has a 0.41 ERA and 2.73 FIP with a 34.8 K% in 22 innings pitched this season. Landen Maroudis is on a rehab assignment, and Gilberto Batista has looked great so far this season. With their second-round pick in 2024, the Jays selected Khal Stephen, who has also dominated Single-A alongside Yesavage. He’s pitched the most innings this season, just a third of an inning more than 2023 draft selection Grant Rogers, who has a 1.54 ERA and 3.34 FIP this season.
Wherever you look in the Jays’ organization, you can see some positive signs.
