<p>Kevin Gausman and the Jays&#8217; bats will look to turn things back in their favour this afternoon.</p>
<p>Gausman is making his 27th start of the season, entering today&#8217;s contest boasting a 3.87 ERA and a 3.77 FIP. Through 153 2/3 innings, he owns an 8.7 K/9 through 153 2/3 innings with a 1.074 WHIP. He&#8217;s kept the walks under control (2.5 BB/9) and is looking to end August on a high note after posting a 4.06 FIP through five outings. Toronto has lost four of his last five starts, providing him with limited run support.</p>

<p>Heading to the mound for the Brewers is right-hander Quinn Priester.</p>
<p>Preister is having a breakout campaign in his first year with Milwaukee, posting a 3.44 ERA and a 4.37 FIP through 128 1/2 innings. 19 of his 24 outings this season have come from his time in the rotation, and while he isn&#8217;t a strikeout artist (7.3 K/9), Priester gets the job done with the groundball, working with a 56.9% rate this season.</p>
<p>Working with a five-pitch mix, his sinker does most of the heavy lifting (43.1%), and he mixes in a slider, cutter, curveball, and changeup to complete the arsenal.</p>
<p>Milwaukee will also be adding Jackson Chourio from the IL, with Brandon Lockridge being optioned back to Triple-A.</p>
