<p>The Jays now have an opportunity to win their second consecutive series after dropping five of six heading into the matchup with the Seattle Mariners. In their past six games, the Jays have five wins to pull back to .500 for the season. Kevin Gausman starts this game, and the right-handed pitcher is looking to have a better start than his last game, where he gave up three earned runs in five and one-third innings.</p>
<p>Returning to the Rays&#8217; lineup is Josh Lowe, who suffered an oblique strain on Opening Day and hasn&#8217;t played a big league game since. He&#8217;ll bat lead-off for the Rays on Thursday.</p>
