<h2>Jace Bohrofen has hit the ground running</h2>
<p>Among the new players added to Toronto&#8217;s system from this summer&#8217;s draft, nobody is off to a hotter start than corner outfielder Jace Bohrofen. The Blue Jays selected Bohrofen in the sixth round of the draft from the University of Arkansas and the lefty has done nothing but mash since turning pro.</p>
<p>He hit a dinger in his second game in the Florida Complex League and has five homers in five games since being promoted to Low-A Dunedin. Across 12 games between the FCL and Low-A, Bohrofen has gone 11-for-45 with seven extra-base hits and 10 walks compared to 11 strikeouts.</p>

<p>Another player from this summer&#8217;s draft class worth talking about is first-rounder Arjun Nimmala. Through five games in the FCL, the 17-year-old has gone 4-for-13 with eight walks and only four strikeouts. That&#8217;s an encouraging sign given Nimmala&#8217;s patience at the plate was said to be something he needed to work on when he was drafted.</p>
<h2>Orelvis Martinez is playing well in Triple-A</h2>
<p>There are a handful of players on the Buffalo Bisons who are knocking on the door for a big-league opportunity. We likely won&#8217;t see Orelvis Martinez get called up this season, but his performance in Triple-A has certainly helped his case for next year.</p>
<p>The 21-year-old moved from Double-A to Triple-A in mid-July and he&#8217;s slashed a .264/.347/.506 line with five home runs and six doubles over 101 plate appearances. Only three times over 23 games has Martinez not reached base at least once, and one of those games was a pinch-hitting appearance.</p>

<li>Alan Roden, Toronto&#8217;s third-round pick from the 2022 draft out of Creighton, has quietly put together a breakout season this year. He put up a .321 batting average and .896 OPS over 69 games with High-A Vancouver and was promoted to Double-A New Hampshire a few weeks ago. Roden had a three-hit game for the Fisher Cats on Wednesday and has a .768 OPS in 22 games at the Double-A level. The most impressive part of his season is the fact he has 56 walks compared to 48 strikeouts between the two levels.</li>
<li>Sticking with Double-A New Hampshire, pitcher Chad Dallas put together another solid start earlier this week, allowing one hit and three walks over five scoreless frames while striking out five. The righty had a couple of difficult starts in July after returning from an injury but has settled down since. Over his last three outings, Dallas has allowed two earned runs across 17 innings pitched.</li>
