The Blue Jays are in Sarasota today to play the Orioles. As a firm reminder to the Trash Birds in regards to who’s going to be pounding the crap out of them for the next decade, the Jays are inserting top prospects Bo Bichette and Vlady Guerrero Jr. into the lineup for their 2018 spring training debuts.
Unfortunately, the game isn’t on television, so you can’t watch it. Booooooo!! The only option will be listening on SN590, which is also available through MLB.tv for those of us youngsters who don’t know how a radio works.
I’m just here to whine about how the Jays are teasing us by trotting Bo and Vlad out there yet (Vlad is starting as the DH, Bo will come in later) they refuse to let us watch it happen. This spring’s broadcast schedule has been very sparse and it’s been difficult to get excited about the season because of it, I’ve found. Listening on the radio was fun for the first few days of spring, but it gets old quickly. Let us watch the players, goddamit.
Anyways, here’s some video footage of the future. No. 83 and 84, baby.
