<p>Fowler has actually been hitting quite well for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons, as he&#8217;s gone 5-for-12 across three games, but the team acquiring Bradley Zimmer from the Cleveland Guardians made it fairly inevitable that Fowler wouldn&#8217;t make his way to Toronto&#8217;s big-league roster.</p>
<p>As bad as Zimmer has been with the bat, he provides the team with a skill set that they&#8217;re looking for, which is somebody who can play well in centre field and who can provide speed on the bases. That might not necessarily be the case with Fowler, who&#8217;s 36 years old and missed almost all of last season after suffering an ACL injury in April.</p>
<p>In other Bisons-related news, infielder Otto Lopez has been activated from the Injured List. He had been on the shelf for the past couple of weeks due to an oblique injury.</p>
