The Blue Jays have a chance to win a series against a team who had only won two games since coming out of the All-Star break. That’s, uh, what should happen! Anyways, with a win today, Toronto will end up going 7-3 on this stretch against other bad American league teams, which, again, is what should be happening.

And now, the lineups…
Blue Jays
J.A. Happ: 4.15 ERA, 78 IP, 9.3 H9, 1.7 HR9, 2.7 BB9, 8.1 SO9
White Socks
Derek Holland: 5.42 ERA, 106 1/3 IP, 10.2 H9, 2.1 HR9, 4.0 BB9, 6.9 SO9
Remember in the 2015 ALDS when Derek Holland rook a rally towel from the ground in the bullpen and pretended to wipe his ass with it? Well, he went on to get absolutely stomped by the Jays in Game 4 en route to Toronto’s historic comeback. Well, Holland is still pitching and he’s still very bad. He owns a 5.42 ERA on the season, is hardly striking out more batters than he walks, and has allowed at least five earned runs in four of his last five starts.
