Admittedly, the first two games of the Jays&#8217; series against the Tigers has been a bit more stressful than one would hope. They&#8217;ve had to mount comebacks in each of the first two games of the series. Credit where it&#8217;s due, however, as the Jays managed to pull out 9-3 and 4-3 victories.
We get our third look of the regular season at Chris Bassitt on the mound today. His start of the season has been far from ideal, to say the least. After a disastrous first game of the season, he rebounded with a decent performance against the Kansas City Royals.
He gets another start on the mound tonight against a Tigers team that has put up eight runs over the last two games.
