Yariel Rodriguez takes the mound for the Toronto Blue Jays Tuesday evening as they look to make it three in a row against the Boston Red Sox.
After a 60-day rain delay, they capped off the June 26th game on Monday, following up with a big 7-3 win in the regularly schedule affair. While the Red Sox were able to stall the Jays offence early, a big five-run fifth-inning, however, changed the rune, as they built a lead and didn’t look back.
They’ll look to rack up some runs against Cooper Criswell, who started the year in the rotation, but found himself operating out of the bullpen in the middle of July. In his last three appearances, one of which out of the bullpen, another as a long reliver and his most recent as a starter, he’s posted a 9.35 ERA, allowing 16 hits while issuing five walks across eight and two-third innings.
