The Toronto Blue Jays have a chance to win their fourth series in a row Saturday night, looking to build off of the previous nights win over the Padres.
Yariel Rodriquez pitched four dazzling innings for the Jays, striking out seven Padres batters and allowing one earned run off three hits and one walk. The Jays bullpen slammed the door, including a beautiful bottom of the eighth in which Yimi Garcia struck out the top of the Padres order.
Now it will be Jose Berrios taking the mound for the Jays Saturday night, looking to build off the momentum from Rodriguez. Berrios has had a great start to his season, with wins in three of his first four starts, and a 1.05 ERA. He’s been electric to start the season, and has fared well against many in the Padres lineup.
