All through game one of the Toronto Blue Jays&#8217; series against the Seattle Mariners last night, I couldn&#8217;t help but get the feeling that game was cursed.

Maybe it&#8217;s the hangover from the playoffs last year. Maybe it was the fact that Alek Manoah struggled early with his command and left a hanging slider over the plate for Cal Raleigh to smash out of the part.
But no matter the nerves, the bats came to life in a big way and the Jays were able to come out on top with a 3-2 win.
Kevin Gausman will take the mound for the Jays this afternoon they look to make it six wins in a row. Toronto has put together a great string of games here beating the New York Yankees to secure that series win before sweeping the Chicago White Sox.
Let&#8217;s see if they can get to the Mariners starter today, Easton McGee, who is making is first start in the bigs today.
