In one sense of the term, this series against the Seattle Mariners has gone about as good as you could ask for.

The Jays opened the series with a 3-2 win off the back of an Alek Manoah start, then went to extras last night only for Daulton Varsho&#8217;s bat to heat up and walk it off for Toronto. Seattle&#8217;s been cold to start the year, but it feels damn good to string together a series win against them.
Early this afternoon, it&#8217;s bump day for Chris Bassitt who will look to put together a strong start to push the Jays to victory. Toronto gets a look at lefty Marco Gonzales on the other side, who has looked good out of the gate this season.
