The Toronto Blue Jays are making a quick visit to the City of Brotherly Love.
They’ll send Jose Berrios to the mound today opposite of Cristopher Sanchez, while Wednesday will feature Chris Bassitt going toe-to-toe with Aaron Nola.
It’ll make for some good matchups, and the Jays pitchers will have their work cut out for them against a Phillies team who have been crushing the ball. The Blue Jays themselves have had a few of their strongest offensive performances as of late, scoring three, six and eight runs against the Washington Nationals over the weekend.
It marks a spark in their offence Blue Jays fans have been waiting for this year after more than a few dog days to start the year. Sanchez, as seen through the numbers below, has had a great start to the season for Philadelphia, so the Jays work will be cut out for them.
