And this afternoon, the Toronto Blue Jays — seemingly unremarkably — are able to split their three-series homestand with a win this afternoon. A lot of that is in thanks to their sweep of the Atlanta Braves, who the Jays mopped up in three straight.
Against the Yankees, things didn&#8217;t go well as they dropped three of the four games carrying a similar vibe into the series against Baltimore dropping the first two games. Alas, they find themselves in a spot to go .500.
And honestly, it feels like it would be a miracle if they could pull it off. However fret not, as Kevin Gausman takes the mound this afternoon. He&#8217;s coming off a great game against the Yankees where he fanned 10 batters, but the team struggled to score in front of him.
