<p>The Blue Jays had a chance to sweep the Seattle Mariners on Sunday, doing just that thanks to a 9-1 victory to reach the .500 mark for the first time since May 2. Let’s take a look at what happened in this one!</p>

<p>In the top of the second, the Blue Jays opened the scoring thanks to a Myles Straw RBI Single, driving in Nathan Lukes for the 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the third, the Mariners scored their only run thanks to Dylan Moore’s seventh home run of the season.</p>

<p>It was all the Blue Jays from there. They restored their lead in the top of the fourth, as Ernie Clement hit a sacrifice fly to make it a 2-1 game. In the top of the fifth, the Jays broke the game open with one swing of the bat, as George Springer hit a three-run blast to give the Jays a 5-1 lead.</p>

Addison Barger made it an 8-1 game with one swing of the bat, hitting his first home run of the season. Thankfully, it wasn’t that wretched score for long, as Lukes hit an RBI single to give the Jays a 9-1 lead.</p>
