It can’t get any worse, they said. But it did. Just a few hours after Aaron Sanchez was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a blister, J.A. Happ left today’s game mid-way through the fifth inning with an injury.
We don’t know what the injury is yet. We don’t know how serious it is. We wait.
UPDATE:
It appears J.A. Happ’s injury was, in fact, arm related. His left elbow, specifically. We still don’t know whether or not he’s going to need time on the disabled list, but when you hear that it’s elbow soreness, you know it isn’t good.
