John Gibbons’ only MLB home run is a blast from the past (see what I did there?)

Outstanding find here from Randy Risling of the Toronto Star — aka @RandyRisling — as this morning he tweeted a clip of a young John Gibbons, hitting his first and only home run in the big leagues.
Off future guy-who-got-Cy-Young-votes-with-the-Rockies-and-was-mentioned-on-a-recent-Effectively-Wild-podcast Marvin Freeman — and in his big league debut, no less!
A no-doubter! And for those infamous 1986 Mets, too!
Not bad for a guy who put up a cool .220/.316/.360 slash line in 18 big league games. #GibbyTheBest
