The 26-year-old rookie made the second start of his Major League career on Sunday as the Toronto Blue Jays played the rubber match of this weekend&#8217;s three-game series against the Oakland Athletics. De Los Santos went 2-for-3 with a single a double and picked up the first hit and RBI of his big league career.

After the game, the Blue Jays reportedly informed De Los Santos that he would be heading to Buffalo to rejoin the Triple-A Bisons, where he had been playing prior to his call-up to Toronto in late July. <a href="https://x.com/juliackreuz/status/1822743961393602881">Per Julia Kreuz of MLB.com</a>, De Los Santos said: &#8220;They want to see some new players in the organization. But it&#8217;s OK. I&#8217;ll keep working, doing my part and I&#8217;m hoping to come back soon.&#8221;
The new player in the organization De Los Santos is referring to seems likely to be Will Wagner, <a href="https://www.milb.com/vancouver/roster/transactions/toronto-blue-jays">who had his roster status changed on the Blue Jays Minor League Transactions page on Sunday,</a> usually a sign that a player is being added to the Major League roster.
The Blue Jays acquired Wagner from the Houston Astros in the Yusei Kikuchi trade and he&#8217;s been on fire since joining the Bisons. The infielder had a .307 batting average and a .853 on-base plus slugging percentage over 70 games with Houston&#8217;s Triple-A affiliate and has gone 10-for-25 with more walks than strikeouts since arriving in Buffalo.
