All “A” affiliates won their games on Tuesday.

There were only three “A” affiliates in action on Tuesday, as the Vancouver Canadians were rained out. To make up for it, we’ll take a look at the Florida Complex League Blue Jays’ game on Monday.

<h2>Buffalo hit three home runs, winning 7-5</h2>
The Buffalo Bisons opened a six-game series against the Syracuse Mets, defeating them 7-5 to move to 28-24 for the season. This is a big series for Buffalo, as Syracuse is second in the International League East with a 31-20 record.
It was a home run party for the Bisons, as Orelvis Martinez hit his 13th home run of the season, which leads the entire organization (including big leaguers). After a hot start, he’s cooled off considerably and there are significant holes in his game still, such as his at bats against right-handed pitchers and errors at second base.

Leo Jimenez is evidently tapping into more power this season as well, as he hit his sixth home run of the season, two shy of matching his career-high which came in 333 plate appearances last season in Double-A. Cam Eden also hit a home run, his fourth of the season.

Riley Tirotta hit his second double as a Bison, while Martinez, Jimenez, Eden, and Steward Berroa all had multi-hit games, with Orelvis having a three-hit performance. Spencer Horwitz and Rafael Lantigua had a hit as well.
Troy Watson made the start for Buffalo, finishing with a line of 3 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 K with a home run given up. Bowden Francis made his fourth rehab appearance, striking out five and allowing an unearned run in 3.2 innings pitched. Connor Cooke picked up a hold in scoreless inning, while Mason Fluharty allowed two unearned runs in two thirds of an inning. Hagen Danner registered the save, striking out two in two thirds of an inning.
<h2>New Hampshire won 4-2 in extra-innings</h2>
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats opened a series against the Akron RubberDucks, defeating LeBron James’ hometown team 4-2 in the tenth inning.
Two home runs were hit by the Fisher Cats, as Devonte Brown hit his fourth of the season, only his second that went over the fence. Moreover, Alex De Jesus hit his fifth home run of the season and his third in two games. Josh Kasevich, Gabriel Martinez, and Miguel Hiraldo all had singles.

CJ Van Eyk had a terrific start, finishing with a line of 6 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 6 K to bring his season ERA to 5.94. This very well could be his best start in professional ball. Trent Palmer was the first out of the bullpen, giving up two earned runs in an inning. Eric Pardinho was tagged with the blown save, giving up a hit and striking out a batter, but it was another game without giving up an earned run.
Jimmy Burnette got the win, walking two and striking out two in an inning and a third. Abdiel Mendoza got the win, striking out a batter in his two thirds of an inning of work.
<h2>Dunedin moved to .500 for the season with their fourth straight win</h2>
One thing with the Dunedin Blue Jays this season is the fact they are streaky. On Tuesday, they defeated the St. Lucie Mets 9-6 to move their record to 23-23.
Manuel Beltre is starting to develop some power this season, hitting his fourth home run of the season and his second in as many games. He’ll never be a power hitter, but if he can put up a good average and hit double-digit bombs, there’s a spot on the Jays in a few seasons.

The team also hit quite a few doubles, as Tucker Toman, Alexis Hernandez, Jean Joseph, and Yhoangel Aponte all had one double. Beltre and Hernandez had multi-hit games, while Cristian Feliz had a single as well.
Jorge Bautista made his Florida State League debut with the Jays, finishing with a line of 5 IP, 5 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 5 K with two home runs given up. Bo Bonds was the first out of the bullpen, giving up two earned runs in an inning and two thirds. J.J. Sanchez picked up an impressive save, pitching 2.1 innings, allowing two hits but striking out three.
<h2>FCL Jays can’t stop losing</h2>
On Tuesday, the Florida Complex League Blue Jays fell 10-4 to the FCL Yankees, moving their record to 4-14.
The good news is that Enmanuel Bonilla hit his second home run of the season which actually gave the FCL Jays the lead. Other players with a hit were Kekai Rios, Daniel Guzmán, Railin Tejada, and Gregori Cano, while Bonilla also had a single.
T.J. Brock made his first rehab appearance, striking out two in an inning pitched. Daniel Guerra had a good outing, finishing with a line of 3.1 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 6 K, but it all came apart as Carlos Meza gave up six earned runs in two thirds of an inning.
Juan Nunez didn’t fare much better, giving up three earned runs while striking out four, and Jorge Guerra allowed an earned run in his inning and two thirds pitched. He did strike out two, though.
Monday’s game was also against the FCL Yankees, but with a lot less scoring, as the FCL Jays fell 2-1.
The team only had three hits, with Kendry Chirinos hitting his second triple of the season, while Carlos Vasquez and Sam Shaw each had a single. The team only walked twice, with Enmanuel Bonilla and Peyton Williams each walked once.
Frankly Urena made the start, finishing with a line of 3.1 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 4 K to bring his season ERA to 6.75. Raudy Gomez was tagged with the loss, allowing two earned runs while striking out four in two and two thirds innings. Luis Torres pitched a scoreless inning, striking out a batter.
