The Buffalo Bisons just can’t stop hitting home runs.

Overall, it was a solid day inside the Blue Jays organization, with two teams winning, three teams losing, and one team being suspended after just three innings (and scoring 11 runs)

<h2>Buffalo scored 11 runs before the game was suspended</h2>
Maybe if the Buffalo Bisons didn’t decide to cook the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, this game would’ve been official. Instead, the game was suspended in the bottom of the third with the Bisons leading 11-0.
In three innings of action, there were three home runs. Riley Tirotta continues to absolutely torch Triple-A, hitting his sixth home run at the level and his ninth overall this season. As I wrote this, he hit his seventh home run when the game resumed on Saturday, but more on that in tomorrow’s Minor League Report.

Will Robertson hit his 10th home run of the season and his third home run in the last four games. After a strong start, Robertson cooled off before once again catching fire this past series. It’s a good sign.
Leo Jimenez hit his seventh home run of the season, just one shy of matching his career-high. For a player who only hit one home run in his first three seasons, it’s nice to see the infielder develop some power.

Steward Berroa also hit two doubles, while Cam Eden and Jimenez each hit one double. Tirotta and Eden each have a single for a multi-hit game, while Damiano Palmegiani hit two singles in three at-bats. Canadian Bryce Arnold also hit a single for his first Triple-A hit.
Only one pitcher pitched for the Bisons, as Beau Sulser struck out four in the two innings of work.
<h2>New Hampshire muster four hits in a loss</h2>
It was a low-hit affair for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, who fell 6-2 to the Reading Fightin Phils to bring their record to 30-36.
Devonte Brown hit the team’s only extra-base hit, his 10th double of the season. Moreover, Alex De Jesus, Miguel Hiraldo, and Glenn Santiago all reached with a single, with the latter reaching on a hit by pitch as well.

CJ Van Eyk made the start for the Fisher Cats, finishing with a line of 3.1 IP, 8 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 3 K with a home run given up to move his season ERA to 7.69. Hunter Gregory allowed an earned run, but struck out four in his inning and two thirds pitched.
The rest of the bullpen had a solid day, though. Anders Tolhust made his Double-A debut and pitched a scoreless inning. Adrián Hernández struck out the side in a clean inning, and Justin Kelly struck out two in a clean inning. Juan Nunez struck out a batter in a clean inning of work.
<h2>Vancouver outlast Tri-City</h2>
The Vancouver Canadians scored an inning in the top of the ninth to propel them to a 6-5 win to move their record to 1-0 in the second half.
That run was scored by Peyton Williams, who hit his second home run in Vancouver this season. Dylan Rock and Nick Goodwin also hit a double, while Williams and Rock each had a two-hit performance. Jamari Baylor also had a two-hit game, while Jackson Hornung, Robert Brooks, and Estiven Machado all had a single.

Chris McElvain had the start, finishing with a line of 3 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 1 BB, 7 K to bring his season ERA to 4.56. Alex Amalfi was the first out of the pen, striking out four and walking two in three innings pitched. Grayson Thurman was tagged with the blown save and the win, striking out four while giving up an earned run in two innings. Conor Larkin picked up the save, striking out a batter in an inning of work.
<h2>Dunedin lost in extra-innings</h2>
Unlike the Canadians, the Dunedin Blue Jays lost their first game of the second half, falling 6-5 to the Daytona Tortugas.
Victor Arias was the team’s player of the game, finishing with three hits along with the only extra-base hit of the game, a double. Tucker Toman also had a multi-hit game, while Cade Doughty, Edward Duran, Cristian Feliz, Manuel Beltre, and Adrian Meza all had a single.
Fernando Pérez had the start for the Jays, finishing with a line of 5.1 IP, 3 H, 4 ER (5 R), 3 BB, 2 K with two home runs given up to move his season ERA to 3.74. Moreover, he threw an immaculate inning.

Aaron Munson struck out five in two innings and two thirds, while Bon Bonds struck out two in a scoreless inning. J.J. Sanchez was tagged with the loss, striking out a batter but giving up an unearned run.
<h2>FCL Jays lost again</h2>
At this point, it’s not too surprising when the Florida Complex League Jays lose. This time, they lost 8-1 to the FCL Yankees, bringing their season record to 8-26.
The team had just four hits &#8211; all singles &#8211; from Maykel Minoso, David Guzmán, Kendry Chirinos, and Luis Meza. Moreover, Minoso and Arjun Nimmala walked twice, while Guzmán and Chirinos walked once each.
Eminen Flores started the game, finishing with a line of 4 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 4 BB, 1 K to bring his season ERA to 4.70. Felipe Bello was the first out of the pen, giving up four earned runs in two innings and a third. Julio Ortiz finished the game, striking out and walking two batters in his inning and two thirds.
<h2>DSL Jays won in a shutout</h2>
The other rookie ball team had more success on Friday, as the Dominican Summer League Jays defeated the DSL Braves 9-0 to bring their season record to 8-5.
No home runs were hit in this game either, but Endry Reyes, Aldo Gaxiola, and Dariel Romano each hit a double, with Gaxiola hitting his fourth. Both he and Ramon had a multi-hit game, as did Angel Guzman. Other players with a hit were Yorman Licourt, Jarold Montealto, and Esmeiquel Arrieche. Juarlin Soto walked three times as well.
Brazilian Sann Omosako started the game, throwing three inning with two hits and two strikeouts to bring his season ERA to 0.64. Andersson Barvosa was the first out of the bullpen, finishing with a line of 3.2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 2 K, while Johandi Media pitched a third of an inning with a walk and a strikeout.
