Teoscar Hernandez has been activated from the 10-day Injured List and he’ll be available off the bench tonight in New York.
In a corresponding roster move, Derek Fisher has been placed on the Injured List with uhhhhhh…. Some totally real injury that definitely wasn’t made up? Yeah, that’s it!
I had speculated earlier today that in the wake of last night’s defensive meltdown coupled with the inevitable return of Hernandez that the Derek Fisher experiment might be coming to an end. But, instead, they’ve stashed Fisher on the Injured List and they’ll be able to make a decision on what to do with him later on.
I would guess there’s a pretty good chance that we don’t see Fisher again this season or in the playoffs, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be back in 2021.
