The New Rogers Centre Dirt Infield Is Almost Complete And Looks Terrific

OK, so obviously I what I really mean is that it “looks terrific if you use your imagination and fast forward to the end of next week, when the Jays open up the home portion of their schedule against the Red Sox.” But that was a little bit too wordy for a title.
It’s true, though! As we can see from a fresh set of images — including the one above, which I’ve cropped and brightened (here’s the original) — that were tweeted out by the club’s VP of business, Stephen Brooks (aka @sbrooksbaseball), this afternoon.
The turf hasn’t been groomed yet, Stephen adds, so relax about that already. And check out some shots from field level, too:
