Meet Otis! He’s an African grey parrot that has the North American blue jay in his heart — and his mouth! Er… beak.
Some of my best friends’ parents used to have one of these (RIP Bud), and I must admit I kinda loathed him for a really long time — mostly because he was a morning bird, and I am very much not a morning bird, and if I crashed on their couch after a night of drinking, he’d only make my hangovers worse with his incessant squawking. But I was roommates with these guys once when they were bird-sitting for their folks, and Bud took a shine to me, always jumping up to sit next to me on the couch, and — rather surprisingly — not constantly trying to peck my goddamned eyes out. Turned out he was kinda cool. Which… well… I suppose most birds are. (They are especially nice to see in the wild, but… uh… let’s just cruise past all that, shall we?)
This one also does Tulo!
He chants for Tulo as well. 😂😂
Yep. Birds are cool.
NOW SOMEBODY PUT HIM ON THE JUMBOTRON DURING RALLIES!
