<p>It&#8217;s been quite some time since the Blue Jays played a game in Cincinnati.</p>

<p>Major League Baseball made a change to its schedule this season that now results in everyone facing each of the other 29 teams in baseball at least once. Before that, the Blue Jays would only face a team like the Reds from the National League Central once every three years.</p>
<p>As Céspedes Family BBQ pointed out on Twitter, you have to go all the way back to June of 2014 to find the last time the Blue Jays played against the Reds at Great American Ball Park. That game featured Munenori Kawasaki batting leadoff, R.A. Dickey pitching to Josh Thole, and resulted in a 4-3 win for the Reds.</p>

<p>In order to find the last time the Blue Jays won in Cinci, you only have to go back a couple of days earlier when the team pulled off one of its most memorable come-from-behind wins of the 2014 season.</p>
<p>Liam Hendriks got the start for the Blue Jays against Mat Latos. The Reds teed off on Hendriks in the second inning and then scored a few more runs off of mop-up guy Todd Redmond to take an early 8-0 lead. The game appeared to be doomed but Edwin Encarnacion gave the Blue Jays some life with a three-run bomb in the third inning.</p>
<p>Redmond settled down after that and only allowed one more run over three innings of work while the Blue Jays scored three more runs off of Latos in the sixth. In the eighth, Brett Lawrie and Juan Francisco hit solo homers off of Jumbo Diaz and then Dioner Navarro hit a game-tying double off of Jonathan Broxton in the eighth.</p>
<p>The Reds brought in closer Aroldis Chapman for the ninth inning. Colby Rasmus started off with a walk and then Kawasaki moved him over to second with a bunt. Erik Kratz came up and smashed a double to deep left field and Rasmus scored easily to give the Blue Jays a 10-9 lead. A few batters later, Encarnacion launched another three-run homer to put the game out of reach.</p>
