Tony Sanchez!
I don’t know whether the future catcher of the Buffalo Bisons has much of a chance of actually beating out Josh Thole for a job as Russell Martin’s backup. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve heard if he’s even tried to catch RA Dickey, let alone how well it might have went — though the fact that I’ve missed it certainly doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened (especially this week).
What I do know, however, is that he’s good at the Twitter. And at interpreting Goose Gossage’s ridiculous comments from earlier today!
To wit:
Maybe he was just watching Top Gun! He did also retweet this, though:
Tewksbary you’ll recognize as the off-season hitting coach for Josh Donaldson and Chris Colabello, who worked this winter with Kevin Pillar, Ryan Goins, and Troy Tulowitzki as well.
He ain’t wrong either.
