<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Down by one run in the ninth inning against the Yankees on April 25th, Kirk got the Blue Jays going with a two-run double off reliever Devin Williams. This sparked the comeback train, and the Blue Jays won 4-2, snapping an early four-game losing streak. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fast forward a few days to April 30th, and</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Kirk was responsible for the game-winning hit against the Boston Red Sox in the 10th inning. With the ghost runner on second, the Red Sox decided to walk George Springer and Daulton Varsho to get to the Jays&#8217; backstop, only for the right-hander to send a ball to left field to send the home crowd home happy. This was also on his &#8216;bobble-arm&#8217; giveaway night as well.</span></p>

Toronto was down by two runs when he came into the game, and the right-handed bat recorded an RBI single to make it within one, and later delivered a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom half of the ninth inning to grab a comeback win over the Baltimore Orioles. </span></p>
