Another start that was far from ideal yesterday as Jose Berrios, again, imploded.
And again, we’re sitting here the day after looking for Yusei Kikuchi to save the day. The revenge tour kicked off a few days ago as he looked rock solid throwing five innings against the Kansas City Royals. Objectively, this is a much tougher matchup today just given the strength at the top of the order for the Angels.
Taylor Ward, Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Anthony Rendon and Hunter Renfroe have been thorns in the sides of the Jays throughout this series.
But now, Kikuchi has a chance to lead the Jays to two consecutive series victories and a chance to bring some Good Vibes back to the Rogers Centre for Tuesday’s home opener.
