The Toronto Blue Jays have traded pitcher Mitch White to the San Francisco Giants for cash considerations.

White, 29, was <a href="https://bluejaysnation.com/news/blue-jays-nate-pearson-being-optioned-to-triple-a-is-the-unfortunate-business-side-of-baseball">designated for assignment</a> by the Jays days ago three years after he joined the team from the LA Dodgers. He ends his tenure with the Jays making 24 appearances, throwing 65 and two third innings.
In them, he posted a 7.26 ERA, a 4.10 FIP while allowing 1.69 walks and hits per inning pitched.
The Jays acquired White — as well as Alex De Jesus — at the 2022 Trade Deadline in exchange for prospects Moises Brito and Nick Frasso, but the deal never worked out for the Jays. White struggled to find consistency at the big league levels, instead spending more of him time with the Triple-A Bisons.

Ahead of Saturday&#8217;s game against the Padres, the Jays made a few other moves, placing <a href="https://bluejaysnation.com/news/chad-green-has-been-placed-on-the-15-day-injured-list-nate-pearson-recalled">Chad Green on the 15-day IL</a> with a right teres major strain while recalling Nate Pearson from the Triple-A Bisons.
