Dave Stewart’s Diamondbacks, everybody!
Yeah, I got nothing.
Hey, but at least the Jays will have a better shot of beating the D’backs than the last time they hit town, back in (I think) 2004:

Arden Zwelling tweets that the Jays will have Aaron Sanchez start on Friday, with R.A. Dickey going on Saturday, then Marcus Stroman on Sunday — meaning it will be J.A. Happ then Marco Estrada for the first two games in the thin air of Colorado, I guess.
Arden adds that the club is debating about whether or not to give Drew Hutchison a spot start at some point before the All-Star break, which is about three weeks from now. Sure, why not?
Alykhan Ravjiani tweets that, despite the talk of skipped starts and whatnot, and the fact that John Gibbons says the Jays still want to protect Aaron Sanchez’s innings, they also want to keep running him out there because he’s been so good. Soo…
Barry Davis tells us that both Brett Cecil and Franklin Morales will begin their rehab assignments tonight in Dunedin. Help is on the way! Sort of. Maybe? If it’s 2014-15 Cecil. Barring setback. (An upgrade on Girodo, who is currently the only lefty in the ‘pen, at the very least.)
Hey, look! It’s Devon Travis hitting second tonight! Hey, don’t look! At who’s hitting first!
FORMER BLUE JAY-ISH MICHAEL BOURN-ISH!
Next Game(s): Tomorrow vs. Diamondbacks, 4:07 PM ET

And now, the lineups…
