Blue Jays win 4-0! Let’s go streaking!

Three game winning streak? Hell yes! The Jays are slowly climbing back up the ladder after their terrible start, and look like a completely different team in May. Joe Biagini tossed five innings, and didn’t allow a run, then the ‘pen, Aaron Loup, Danny Barnes, Ryan Tepera, and Roberto Osuna closed the door. Damn good stuff. Damn good.

W: Biagini (1-1), L Bergman (0-1)

HR: Bautista (4)

Damn good stuff indeed Cam as the Jays continue to claw , scratch, and fight their way to victories like that cornered wolverine. Now I happen to frequent a favorite Jays watering hole out here in Vancouver. The past two seasons the staff let me borrow the broom from the kitchen to sweep the floor of the establishment when the Jays sweep a series. I’ve actually had people come up to me and state that they remember me as an employee of the restaurant bar. I tell them no, no, no, I just sweep when the Jays sweep. So I’m getting kind of pumped here that Sunday, yes it is Mother’s day so happy mothers day to all the wonderful moms out there. But somehow I got to sneak out for the 8th or 9th inning and grab that fine broom from the kitchen as I think the Jays can SWEEP THIS SERIES. To quote the great one, no, no, no not number 99 but the late great comedian Jackie Gleason HOW SWEET IT IS. Especially when you have most of your star players on the D.L. Go Jays Go.

I go to a Brown’s social club in Burnaby and there are usually a number of Jays fans watching the action. Good food, good service and the ladies friendly and attractive with several t.v. screens. What more could one ask for.
