Game Threat: Show No Mercy, Blue Jays (63-73) @ Orioles (69-67)

Sep 3, 2017, 12:01 EDT
Two out of three ain’t bad, but it’s not great. It’s time to take three of four and put the foot on the throat that is the Orioles playoffs hope and crush any dreams of a wild card berth. A couple of kids get the start today to try to get some good hittin’ against Chris Tillman.
News and Scuttlebutt
Another day, another addition to the Jays roster. Chris Rowley makes his triumphant return.
After taking an absolute rocket off the arm forcing him to leave the game early on, the news was as good as it could be. MRI’s came back negative and in true Stroman fashion, he addressed things on twitter.

And now, the lineups…
Blue Jays
Brett Anderson: 6.83 ERA, 27.2 IP, 13.0 H9, 0.7 HR9, 3.9 BB9, 6.2 SO9
Orioles
Here's how we line up for the series finale vs Toronto. #Birdland
Chris Tillman: 7.91 ERA, 79.2 IP, 12.5 H9, 2.3 HR9, 5.0 BB9, 6.3 SO9
Brett Anderson makes his second start for the Blue Jays today. Anderson will look to build off of a very impressive first outing where he went 5.2 innings with just one earned run. For the Orioles, Chris Tillman toes the rubber. Being kind, his year has not been great. Let’s be real though, Tillman has been dog shit. Straight fucking trash. Hopefully, Brett Anderson can put forward a similar outing to his first, and Tillman continues to be hot garbage.
