5 months agoThe New York Yankees had a 15.5 game lead in the American League East back in early July and that lead has slipped down to eight games after the Blue Jays took three of four last weekend in The Bronx.

We dug into New York’s struggles, the great pitching that the Blue Jays got over the weekend, Aaron Boone’s meltdown, Gerrit Cole picking a fight with Alek Manoah, and a whole bunch more.
After that, we looked ahead at the upcoming stretch of games that the Blue Jays have against the Red Sox, Angels, Cubs, and Pirates, and how they need to play well in order to give themselves a cushion down the stretch.
