BJN Radio – Ep. 209: Kevin Gausman helped Blue Jays salvage series with Dodgers

The L.A. Dodgers arrived in Toronto this weekend and took two of three games from the Blue Jays.
We talked about how Shohei Ohtani silenced the boo birds with a home run in his first at-bat of the series and how difficult it is for a pitcher to keep the Dodgers’ potent lineup at bay. We also talked about how Kevin Gausman was his ace-like self in Toronto’s only win of the series on Sunday.
After that, we took a look around the American League East, which saw top prospect Jackson Holliday sent back down to Triple-A after a rough start with the Baltimore Orioles. Finally, we looked ahead to this week’s three-game set in Toronto against the Kansas City Royals.
