BJN Radio – Ep. 154: The loss that perfectly summarizes the season so far

The Toronto Blue Jays dropped their third series in a row this weekend.
Kevin Gausman started things off with a win on Friday but the Blue Jays lost their bullpen day on Saturday and then they blew a 6-0 lead in the rubber match on Sunday in what was probably their most frustrating loss of the season.
We talked about what went wrong in Texas, from limp bats to the lazy errors in the outfield, and wondered whether anybody might be on the hot seat. We also looked for some positives from the series, such as Spencer Horwitz’s successful big league debut.
After that, we looked around the American League East and ahead to Toronto’s upcoming series with the Miami Marlins.
